Administer Servers dialog (v4)

This dialog menu is called from the File menu bar:

The main list box shows current Portfolio Servers. Click the triangle icon (Mac) or '+' (Windows) to expand a list of Catalogues being served by the Server. You can't open catalolgues via this dialog but showing those served might help identify which catalog you wish to Administer. See also Server manual pages 6-7.

• Done. Closes the dialog.
• Administer.... Commence administering the currently selected Server.
• Add Server.... Allows a new Portfolio Server to be added to the list. Any name can be used for the Server name but the true IP address of the Server is needed.
• Remove Server. Deletes the selected Server from the list. This does not affect the actual Server, merely the client's knowledge of where it is located.
• Edit Server.... Edit Server details - name and/or IP address. Opens a dialog similar to 'Add' - see above.

Clicking 'Administer...' opens this dialog:

...enter your password and click 'OK'. For a new server, on fist access, you'll be offered a dialog where you enter and repeat your new password.
