Export to HTML - 3 - Export using pre-saved settings

Manual: v5 - Pages 185-189 (Export to HTML), v6 - Pages 104-108 (Exporting web pages) / pages 111-112 (HTML page macros)

The other choice is to click the 'Use Template' option. This allows you to use any of the pre-saved templates shown in the listbox. As with the previous example, one of these can be used to do a simple Export to HTML pages, except using a predefined format instead of Portfolio's active Gallery's layout.

There are also some new functions available. Ignore the 'Add...' button as it does exactly the same as in the last article, creating a new template based on the current layout.

To edit a saved template - whether via the Edit HTML dialog or after exporting from Portfolio, click the 'Edit...' button.

To create a new template based on an existing template click the 'Duplicate...' button. In fact, both this and the 'Edit...' button do exactly the same thing except that by using the 'Duplicate...' button the name of the template shown in the 'Edit HTML' dialog is changed to 'Untitled'.

The delete button is self-explanatory, deleting the currently selected saved template.

Now take a look at the Edit HTML function.
