Link to New File dialog (v7)

This allows you to (re-set) the image which is linked to an existing record. This allows you to point to a new record without loosing all the records custom data.

Simply navigate, using the OS dialogs provided to the new 'target', select it and click 'OK'. Note the dialog tells you the name (but not location) of the currently linked file.
