Multiple Servers and multiple Catalogues.

Portfolio stores a "reference to the file when it is added to the catalog", if you add multiple Servers do they all share the same Catalogue(s)? Can you keep scaling up?

Although the Catalogues reside on the Portfolio Server, all the administration can be done through the client application (appropriate access permitting). A user with a Network client and privileges to multiple Catalogues can search and bring up records from multiple Catalogues. Multiple Catalogues can reside on one Portfolio Server. If more than one Portfolio Server exists, a user can access all Catalogues as long as the Servers are available to the workstation via TCP/IP, the user has privileges to the Catalogues being served (both at OS and Portfolio levels) and is using the Network version of the client.
