Manual: v5 - pages 156-158, 210 (Pre-defined lists), v6 - 75 (Pre-defined lists)

Version 5.x (Windows) has two slightly confusing things here. Contrary to the information on page 156 of manual, if "My Listing" is the name of your Custom Field then the Menu listing is actually "Show My Listing" not "Show Master My Listing". Conversely, the palette's tab title is "Master My Listing" not "My Listing".

The incorrect titling bug above does not affect function except that when used in conjunction with certain views, a manual refresh (Ctrl+Shift+U) is required to see the field's data correctly updated. In all the examples below, the target Custom Field must be set to be displayed:

Tip: You can trick Portfolio into creating a master palette for a single value Custom Field (all types except Text Block and URL). The trick is achieved by selecting the 'Predefined List' option (Manual page 210) and entering your single value into the list and saving the field. You now have a new Master Palette which allows you to set the same field value in many records all at once. Simple!
