These sites were issued in v7.0.0 (except where noted) and remain the default templates as at v9.0:

Static Sites use a 'gallery' page where dynamic sites have a 'result' page but the visual style is the same. Most static sites produce a set of detail (1-up) and gallery (n-up) pages, a few also produce 1-up 'View' pages.. Some dynamic sites include additional templates -that cannot be edited from within NP Assistant; these are listed, where used, alongside the main NPT template whose folder they share.

Default folder names for built-in NPA sites

When you use a built-in template set in NPA, the wizard is pre-configured to use these names (search/collection pages are only applicable to Dynamic site templates):

Site 5 uses Frames as opposed to IFrames.

'Extras?' refers to the presences of extra templates than can only be hand edited if you wish to change anything beyond NPA on-scren options, there is no 'view source' for these extra template. (c = Collection page folder, d = DetailsWeb/DetailsStatic page folder, r = Results/Gallery page folder and s = Search page folder.

Bravado

This site includes separate search, results, detail and shopping cart pages. This site is designed for those who would like multiple collection options in one site, and contains both a "Wish List" and a "Cart". In addition to the modifiable search field options, each page contains a "Quick Search" option, which is not modifiable via the NetPublish Assistant.

Dossier

This site includes separate results and detail pages. In Gallery sites, the results page displays all images within a catalog, because there are no search options. This site is designed to be flexible to accommodate large or small images, and is ideal for those who would like to display extensive field information along with images.

Effervescence

This site includes search, results, detail and favorites pages. In addition to the search functionality offered in the search page, the default search page contains a "Browse by Category" area that displays master keywords as hyperlinks. This site is designed to show a moderate amount of text from catalog fields in the results page, and to show extensive text from fields in the detail page.

Exhibition

This site includes results and detail pages within a framed site. In Gallery sites, the results page displays all images within a catalog, because there are no search options. This site shows thumbnails laid out horizontally in a single row across the bottom of the site in the results frame, and includes a detail frame, which displays a larger image and catalog field info in the middle of the page. Because of the thumbnail display in a single row, this site is best for catalogs of 99 images or less. This design is best for displaying little to no field information in the results frame, and a moderate amount of field information in the details frame. Thumbnail size is not modifiable via the NetPublish Assistant in this design. There are multiple style sheet options for this site.

Grace

This site includes separate search, results, and detail pages. The layout of this site is ideal for displaying a significant amount of text data from the catalog fields on each page. By default, the search page includes catalog summary data, fields for advanced multi-field searching, as well as a "Show All" option. This site contains a detail page option, which features an email form for collecting feedback on an image.

Illumination

This is a framed site, which includes search, results and detail pages. This site contains a details frame which is designed to accommodate images up to 256-pixels in size. Larger images in the details frame are not supported by the design. The default search page includes fields for advanced multi-field searching, as well as a "Browse by Category" section that builds a list of hyperlinks from the master keyword list in the Portfolio catalog. When the site is loaded, it displays all results by default. Searches can be used to narrow the result set. All searches and category matches load in both Results and Detail frames simultaneously.

Journal

This is a framed site, which includes a search frame and results and detail pages that replace each other in a frame. When visitors arrive at this site, the default welcome page displays a sample 256-pixel default image. The default image is always the first image in the Record set from the sort order specified in the results page of the NetPublish Assistant.

Lightbox

This is a framed site, which includes search, results, detail and favorites pages. The search page is divided into a single-field "quick search" and a multi-field "advanced search" area. The "quick search" is not modifiable in the default page offered for this site in the NetPublish Assistant. There are multiple style sheets (color-scheme options) available for this site.

Luminosity

This is a framed site, which includes search, results, detail and favorites pages. The results and detail pages replace each other in the center of the site. The search options and favorites always appear on the left of the site. The search page is designed for use of the single field, or "quick search" option in NetPublish. This site is ideal for those who would like a constant view of items in their favorites, and for display of a lot of text from catalog fields on the detail page. There is one style sheet (color-scheme option) available for this site.

Museum

This site includes separate results and detail pages. The results page displays all images within a catalog. This site shows 256-pixel thumbnails in a single row, and includes a detail page that opens in a new window. Because of the thumbnail display in a single row, this site is best for catalogs of 99 images or less. This site is ideal for those who would like to display a lot of field information on the detail page. This option does not support custom welcome pages. This option contains multiple stylesheet (color-scheme) options.

This site is ideal for those who would like to display little to no field information on the results page, and a moderate amount of field information on the detail page.

Slideshow

This site includes results and detail pages within a framed site, and includes slideshow functionality on the Details page. In Gallery sites, the results page displays all images within a catalog, because there are no search options. This site shows 112-pixel thumbnails in a single vertical column in the results frame, and includes a detail page that displays results in a slideshow. Thumbnail size in the results frame is not modifiable via the NetPublish Assistant. There are multiple style sheet options for this site. This site design is limited to support up to 99 images only.
